![]() ![]() Three stories really spoke to me, and in a way, I think they speak to each other. There’s so much to love in this book, it is really a treasure trove of dragon tales. ![]() It was in this introduction I learned that dragons often appear in human form, that they love treasure, that they are guardians of every imaginable element particularly water (surprising to me given their fire-breathing proclivities), that they are sleeping below our towns and villages. It’s a great place to start your dragon education. The introduction from Jonathan Strahan was very illuminating and provides a spoiler-free map for reading this collection. I would not say that I am any kind of expert now, but I have certainly learned a lot. I definitely came to this collection a novice of dragon lore. ![]()
